Dave Coldwell’s story doesn’t start with fame or opportunity. It starts with survival. Openly bullied at school and facing a difficult home life, Dave was searching for safety and direction. At 15, he walked into the legendary Brendan Ingle Gym in Sheffield and found the discipline that would save his life.
Transitioning from a professional fighter to one of British boxing’s most respected coaches, Dave built a reputation for turning raw talent into world-class champions. He guided Tony Bellew to a career-defining World Title and developed champions like Jamie McDonnell.
More than a technical coach, Dave is a leader of men. In a sport where one poor decision can change a life, he is known for integrity—knowing when to push and bravely knowing when to pull a fighter out for their safety.
In the corporate world, Dave translates this “Corner Man” mindset into powerful lessons on leadership, pressure management, trust, and accountability.
